"Write-On" Fine Motor and Printing Skills Drop-In

Write-On is an opportunity for ErinoakKids clients aged three and older (and their families) to work on their fine motor goals, with the support of an Occupational Therapist (OT) and/or an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA).

The OT/OTA can provide resources and strategies to support the following Fine Motor areas:

  • Pencil grasp
  • Scissor skills
  • Pre-printing skills
  • Upper case letter formation
  • Lower case letter formation
  • Spatial aspects of printing

Please note: Caregivers must attend with their child, as the drop-in is an opportunity for families to learn fine motor strategies to set them up for successful practice at home.

Participants must be referred to School Based Rehabilitation Services (SBRS) Occupational Therapy and have completed a Fine Motor Initial Assessment with identified goal areas.

If you are interested in attending, please speak to your School Based Occupational Therapist.

When you arrive onsite, please let the receptionist know you are attending the Write-On Fine Motor Drop-In.
