1. Universal Newborn Hearing Screening 

Program Description:

We are looking for friendly, outgoing individuals with excellent customer service and communication skills.  You will have an opportunity to greet clients and families and assist them as they arrive for their screening appointment.  Direct visitors to the Reception Desk ensuring they sign in and escort them to the Audiology suite.

LOCATION: Halton Site - 2000 Glenorchy Road, Oakville 

DATES: Weekdays effective immediately and ongoing

TIME:  8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. (Volunteers do not need to commit to the entire day but rather a minimum of 3 hours each day they volunteer)

Please be specific as to what days and times you are able to volunteer.  Please check your schedule before committing to time.



Willingness to be flexible and understanding of the clients and their diagnosis, open to receiving direction, consistent and dependable with availability for at least three hours per shift, mobile, mature and able to take initiative; comfortable working with non-verbal clients. Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 to be eligible - two doses and at least one booster.

2. Resource Center Administrative Assistant

Program Description

Our Longo Family Resource Centres are accessed by families who are looking for resources (toys, books etc.) that align with the goals of their child's therapy and/or workshops to support them in practicing various skills in their home environment. 

LOCATION: Halton Site - 2000 Glenorchy Road, Oakville
DATES: Weekdays
TIME: between the hours of 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.


Enter family registration information into a database, assist families in selecting toys, books or resources, check items in/out of the database, clean returned toys and ensure they are in working order and all pieces returned; assist the process of items on hold, assist with material preparation, administrative duties if requested


Must be comfortable/have experience with basic computer skills, strong communication skills, must be friendly and outgoing; take initiative to assist families, willing to take on new tasks as they come up, detail-oriented, good organizational skills, consistency required as this is a weekly position.  Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 to be eligible (two doses and one booster).
