Student Placements

Looking for a meaningful student placement experience? ErinoakKids offers a range of opportunities to help you learn, grow, and make a difference. 


Types of Student Placements: 

Speech-Language Pathologist and Communication Disorder Assistant in a variety of programs: 

Occupational Therapy and Occupational Therapy Assistant in a variety of programs:

Physiotherapy and Physiotherapy Assistant in a variety of programs:

Early Childhood Resources:

Social Work:

*Social Work Placements: Must be enrolled in a Master of Social Work program (MSW) and completing a final year or advanced standing placement.

Audiology:

*Audiology Placements: Must be enrolled in final year of Masters program and have demonstrated interest in pediatric Audiology. Please note, we do not currently offer full year Au.D placements. 

Nursing:

*Nursing Placements: We are currently only accepting students from Toronto Metropolitan University for placements.

Autism Services:

Recreation Therapy:


Eligibility: 

Students must be enrolled in their chosen discipline’s program at an established degree or diploma granting post-secondary educational intuition and should demonstrate an interest in pediatric care. 

ErinoakKids does offer opportunities for interprofessional experiences/ observations for student placements , which can be further discussed with the Clinical Practice Leaders (CPLs) or Senor Behaviour Analysts (SBA).

High School Students:
Unfortunately, we do not offer student placement opportunities or job-shadowing opportunities to high school students. However, we do welcome volunteers! If you are a high school student (ages 16+) looking for volunteer opportunities, please visit our volunteer page to learn more:

*Please note that acceptance/ availability of student placements depends on the capacity of the program at the time of application.
