Fundraising Highlights

2025/2026 was an exciting year for the ErinoakKids Development team. Check out these fundraising highlights!

Second Annual Marketplace on Main Street

We have the most incredible community. A community that shows up and donates their time and support to help better the lives of the children and youth we serve every day.

Our second Marketplace on Main Street event this past November was a resounding success, raising over $90,000 for our highest priority needs. Donors, stakeholders and friends gathered at our Brampton site for an evening of food, fun and connection, with a special word from RJ, a past Independent Living Program attendee and a fun and unique performance from our Hero Circle Karate Kids

Supporting Families through ScotiaRISE

Scotiabank has committed $90,000 over three years to the ErinoakKids Family Support Fund through ScotiaRISE, a 10-year, $500 million initiative focused on building economic resilience in communities. The Family Support Fund helps families access essential supports such as medication, respite care, emergency assistance and specialized equipment. Over the past year alone, more than 65 families have benefited from this support.

As shared by Jorden Davis, Vice President, Commercial Banking Distribution, GTA, Scotiabank is committed to helping individuals and families overcome barriers and access opportunities for growth through initiatives like ScotiaRISE.

The Rotary Club of Oakville

The Rotary Club of Oakville has donated $40,000 to help launch Erin’s at the ErinoakKids Oakville site.

“We are pleased to play a small role in helping ErinoakKids create a new environment and opportunity to experience workplace roles for some of its former clients,” said Mike Henry, Oakville Rotary’s community service chair. “At ErinoakKids, we believe disability should never be a barrier to employment,” said Chris Hartley, President & CEO of ErinoakKids.

100 Women Who Care

In March 2026, ErinoakKids had the pleasure of hosting the Mississauga chapter of 100 Women Who Care for a very special celebration! This chapter actually had 150 incredible women contribute to the cause!  This amazing group of women presented us with a generous donation of $15,658, marking their largest collective donation to date!

These funds have been specifically designated to support our iCan Bike program, a week in July that gives children with disabilities the chance to ride a bike. For many children with disabilities, the dream of riding a two-wheeled bike can feel out of reach. iCan Bike makes that dream a reality.
