Day Respite

There are three Day Respite programs available at ErinoakKids:

New Enhanced Day Respite

Recreational Respite

Therapeutic Respite

If you have already submitted your referral, a member of the team will be in touch with an update/next steps. Spaces are limited.

For children and teens up to age 18 with complex medical and/or behavioural needs such as: significant physical, developmental or neurological disabilities, and/or:

require nursing supports, and/or
complex, challenging behaviour and require medication administration/nursing supports
require equipment to support physical needs
a Medically Fragile Technologically Dependent (MFTD) designation

Package of six Wednesdays 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. COST: $540	Package of two weekends (Saturday + Sunday, four days total) 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. COST: $265

For young adults 18 to 25 requiring medication/nursing support.

Package of six Wednesdays 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m COST: $720

Recreational Respite

All spring sessions are now full. Thank you for your interest.

Available for children living at home in Peel or Halton with challenging behaviour needs, autism or developmental disabilities that make it difficult to access community based programs.

With a focus on fun and engaging activities, recreational respite offers 1:1 support for children up to age 17 who do not require nursing support for medical complexities.

Packages include:

Six Saturdays (9:00 a.m - 3:00 p.m.), $300.00
Package of six Monday/Wednesday evenings (4:00 - 7:00 p.m.), $250.00
Package of six Tuesday/Thursday evenings (4:00 - 7:00 p.m.), $250.00

Therapeutic Respite

Available as part of the Urgent Response Service (URS) of the Ontario Autism Program (OAP).
