Day Respite

There are three Day Respite programs available at ErinoakKids:  

New Enhanced Day Respite

Therapeutic Respite

Recreational Respite


 

Enhanced Day Respite *New*

Starting October 2025, for clients up to age 25 requiring medication/nursing supportRegistration is now open.


For young adults 18 to 25:
Package of six Wednesdays, 9:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. 
COST: $720.

3. A member of the team will be in touch to confirm the Terms of Engagement and receive payment.


For children and teens up to age 18 with complex medical needs requiring equipment to support physical needs and medication administration/nursing support:

Package of two weekends (Saturday and Sunday, four days total)  |  9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. 
COST: $265.

For children and teens up to age 18 who have challenging behaviour needs, autism or other developmental disabilities and require medication administration/nursing support

Package of three weekends (Saturday and Sunday, six days total)  |  9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. 
COST: $400.

Spaces are limited.  

Please note that stays are booked and confirmed only when: 

  1. We have received payment and a signed Terms of Engagement
  2. All pre-assessments are complete.




Therapeutic Respite

Available as part of the Urgent Response Service (URS) of the Ontario Autism Program (OAP).

Recreational Respite

We are not currently accepting referrals for Recreational Day Respite, as all available spaces are full. Please check back for updates.  

If you have already submitted a referral, you will receive a phone call before your service begins.
