Autism Diagnostic Assessment

ErinoakKids is one of the diagnostic service hubs designated under the Ontario Autism Program. 

If you have concerns regarding your child’s development and you live in the Peel, Halton or Dufferin regions, you can request that your primary care physician refer your child to ErinoakKids for an Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) diagnostic assessment. 

We provide timely assessments so that you and your child can begin to receive appropriate supports as quickly as possible. With a multi-disciplinary approach, we use standardized professional tools and criteria to determine a diagnosis of ASD. Following the assessment, our clinicians will connect you with the appropriate supports within ErinoakKids and our community.

A physician referral is required for this service.
