Autism Service Offerings

ErinoakKids currently offers three streams of direct autism services which are funded by the Ontario Autism Program (OAP), and so your child must be registered with the OAP to access these services.

We are also pleased to offer Day Respite for children up to 18 years of age with challenging behaviour needs, autism or other developmental disabilities.

Caregiver-Mediated Early Years Program

Caregiver-Mediated Early Years (CMEY) programs support families with young children ages 12 months to four years. CMEY helps young children learn new skills and meet individualized goals.

Entry to School Program

The Entry To School (ETS) program is open to children aged three to six years of age registered with the OAP and entering school for the first time. This program supports successful transitions into school.

Autism (ABA) Services

ErinoakKids is pleased to offer 1:1 Applied Behaviour Analysis services for children with autism ages three to nine years old.

Urgent Response Services

The Urgent Response Service (URS) provides time-limited services and supports intended to respond rapidly to a specific need for children and youth up to 18 years of age and registered in the OAP to prevent further escalation of risk of harm to self, others and/or property.

Day Respite

Day respite options are available at both our Mississauga and Brampton locations for children/youth up to 18 years of age with challenging behaviour needs, autism or other developmental disabilities that make it difficult to access community based programs.
